I know I use the word awesome a lot. For my vocabulary, it is pretty damn overused, but anyways the point I am making is that Spotify might just be the future of recreationally (is that even a word?) listening to music on one's computer. Whether you pay for the service (there is unlimited and premium) or get it by invitation, you have access to millions of songs from around the globe. Now I'm a complete metal guy with random tastes (insert Fergie, ABBA, Madonna, just to name a few), but I've used the service to listen to a lot of music I listened to in past years but fell off my radar. My favorite example: "Pop" by Nsync. That's my favorite Nsync song hands down. Another good one is "Pump It" by Black Eye Peas. (and "Don't Phunk With My Heart). Don't judge people. Don't judge. One of the coolest features is that the program also syncs your music library from iTunes or Windows Media Player and when you search the musical database (remember in over millions of tracks) if you already have the song on the computer, it tells you. I haven't tried the Premium in which you can save songs offline and take them with you on the go but when I do, I'll let you know. Check it out right here. Trust me, it won't let you down.
Currently in my playlist: "DARE" by Gorillaz; "Abstract Art" by Born of Osiris; "S.I.M.P." by 2 Guys N The Parque (It's the Phineas and Ferb song); "Kalemba Wegue, Wegue" by Buraka Som Sistema; "Pump It" by the Black Eye Peas; "Runaway" by Bon Jovi; and "Black Tongue" by Mastodon
