Step dad is a bit weird. Goes out all day, comes home, says hi and then just locks himself in his room (only to go to sleep). It's only just us two right now since my mom is in Mexico and my sister is at my dad's. So just more or less feels like it's just me. I've been playing Dead Island to kill some boredom. The game is pretty entertaining so far. I'm still trying to understand the game mechanics but once I do, I'm pretty sure it'll make more sense to me (and more enjoyable). I also got Netflix to kill boredom. Got a free month thanks to having quit almost a year and half ago. Been catching up on Psych as the new season just started. I know I'm on a boat by myself with that show and I don't really mind. No one I know is particularly a fan but it's alright since I like their style of humor.

On a bit of a sidenote, my girlfriend has begun referring to pancakes as carb cakes. It's cute
