My Thanksgiving Weekend
So I spent my Thanksgiving this year with a group of people I've never before in my life and will never see again. We all spent more than 12 hours in the cold talking about the most random things nonchalantly as if we all he previously known each other. Everyone talked about where they were from, their occupation and why they were at Best Buy. But if there is something I have to admit, it is that I'm glad I didn't spend Thanksgiving with family or a significant other or anyone I really knew (besides Luis). I didn't even really spend anytime with my family the whole weekend. It felt good to be away from everyone I knew, my problems and my electronics. It was like one of those "imagine you stranded on an island with a group of people you didn't know" kind of things because if you really think about it, no one is going to be there for you at all. It's like when you attend a concert, for however many hours you are there, the outside world doesn't exist.
